Approach
Us Media believes the best results are achieved when working in close cooperation with our clients and stakeholders. The entire Us Media office is designed around this approach. We use standing meeting places, large kanban/project boards and embrace visual management in an open and transparent environment.
The team and the client work closely together in defining releases, weekly iterations, user stories and tasks. By iterating on a weekly or biweekly basis, there is enough room to tweak priorities and facilitate change as the client is always up to date with the current status and immediately is witness of the consequences of requests.
Our approach keeps meetings to a minimum as there are static moments like daily 10 minute stand-ups and iteration meetings where the development team discusses progress and issues. The client keeps a single point of contact for day-to-day business, while keeping an open line of communications between all members of the project team; developers, creatives, the client, other stakeholders, etc.
Us Media is known for keeping a very tight development process, while maintaining creativity and flexibility. We are a front-runner in Agile development and are often asked to present about the subject to clients and other (digital) agencies in the Netherlands. Us Media successfully applies the approach with big and small client teams.
This all results in an effective and highly motivating working method in which open communication, transparency and flexibility are key to successful cooperation with the client.
The process is supported by Waypoint, which we made public by popular demand.
