In recent years CARE has taken steps to professionalise its communication and fundraising. Online plays an increasingly important role in this – the reason CARE committed to us. as a strategic and technology partner for the long term.
a stable platform with the donor at the centre
CARE chose us. as a partner to break new ground with carenederland.org. The main wish: a stable platform built around the donor journey, where donating is quick and easy.
In addition, existing external CARE websites had to be integrated into the new platform, and the site's branding had to reflect CARE's renewed positioning.
built from scratch, together with CARE
us. developed the platform from scratch for – and together with – CARE, based on the fundraising platform of us. This way CARE benefits from the experience we gained as a technology partner of organisations such as Amnesty, SOS Children's Villages, Lilianefonds and Wilde Ganzen.
The platform runs entirely in the cloud on AWS. Smart caching and optimal image delivery via imgix make the website exceptionally fast and scalable – performance holds up even with large visitor numbers. The cms is based on WordPress, with custom work to run fast, secure and scalable from the cloud.
The new website is the first milestone within a balanced online strategy, with which CARE offers (potential) donors, interested parties and employees an excellent online experience, now and in the future.
