more than a label
For us, the B Corp certification is not just a label. It is much more than that quality mark that we are now allowed to put on our website, just like big players such as Ben & Jerry’s. Nor is it a reward because we have started doing something new. It is confirmation that we are fulfilling our mission, ‘Increasing the impact of socially engaged organizations with smart digital products,’ and that we prioritize positive impact over making a huge profit. We dare to make principled choices and take our responsibility when it comes to digital safety and accessibility, the environment, a healthy and inclusive working environment, and the type of clients we want to work for.
what does that mean in practice?
- We focus even more strongly on clients who are doing good for the world.
- We exclusively create digital products that can be used by everyone—with or without a disability.
- We take our responsibility regarding the privacy and digital security of our clients and their end-users.
- We are aware of sustainability in the workplace, conscious purchasing, sustainable travel, and waste minimization, and we act accordingly.
investing in employees
We encourage us. employees (including future ones) to be environmentally conscious, and we promote an active lifestyle, for example, with company fitness. Many of our people contribute to their community by doing volunteer work, and at us., they are allowed to do this for one day a year during working hours. We structurally invest in a diverse and inclusive team and in the development of our employees. None of this is new, but thanks to B Corp, it has been recorded, made measurable, and we have set new priorities. And that feels good!
continuing to improve
We are proud that we are now where we worked towards for almost a year in our B Corp journey: us. = B Corp. But this is just the beginning of the journey. We have made the commitment to keep improving. Towards ourselves and towards our (potential) clients. Being a B Corp is a process of continuous improvement. Every three years, we must re-certify to renew our B Corp certification and measure the improvements of the past years. It is a joint effort by the entire team, with Anne-Jet as B-keeper constantly keeping a finger on the pulse.
We will be happy to keep you informed!
